Attending an auction in person can be exciting and fun!  There is nothing like being in the middle of the auction action!  At our auction house we offer our clients service like none other.  On auction nights we have refreshing snacks and beverages that will excite you as much as the auction!  We offer free educational seminars during the year on topics such as collecting American Art, Vintage Costume Jewelry, Antique Rugs and American Silver.  During the summer we have a few dinner auctions that are free to clients that have met certain purchasing levels.  At Johnnie Hammer Auctions, we think long term.  We like our customers and we like the relationships we build with them.

We offer our clients a very unique buying experience.  We may, at your request, assign you a personal sales associate.  Your sales associate can be a very valuable asset!  They can alert you when items that you are looking for are scheduled to come to auction.  They can assist you with adding pieces to your collections and with any decorating needs you may have.  Personal sales associates may, for the discrete buyer, doing their bidding both over the phone and in person.  Your personal sales associate will also be responsible for packing and shipping of your items.   Our personal associates form very long term working relationships with our clients.   Most important, your relationship with your sales associate is confidential.  Our sales associates sign confidentiality agreements and we take them seriously.

All of our auctions can be attended in person or can be viewed live using the internet.  No matter which bidding method you are using be sure to read all of the fine print and register in advance!    If you are attending in person and have any questions please ask one of our sales associates and they will be happy to assist you.  If you have any questions and you are planning on bidding using the internet please call us before the auction begins so we can assist you.  If you are planning on bidding using the telephone please contact us as early as possible so that we may assign you a personal bidding assistant.

Again, please see the buyers premiums and fees page of our website.
