Our auctions reach over 3 million viewers world wide. From antique antlers to antique zithers we auction it all!  Let our auction specialist place your items in the auction that will give you the best return.  If we do not feel our auction house is the correct venue for your item we will  place your item in the appropriate market place making sure that it realizes the maximum hammer price.

New England Auction Company is a leader in the auction business holding more than 12 large specialty auctions and many more estate auctions per year.  We offer to both, our buying and our selling clients, honesty and integrity in every facet of our business.  In addition to auctions, we offer full estate liquidation services and personal property appraisals.  We work with our clients to place their goods in the markets that will bring the best results.

For our sellers we use the most up to date technology and we offer our personal commitment to meeting your deadlines.  We can bring an entire estate to auction in just 60 days.  For sellers without imposing deadlines we can place your items in auctions that we feel will bring you the most value. The best advertising is word of mouth and we know that a satisfied seller will be our best advertising.

Collections vs. Collectibles

Buyers beware.  Every day, we speak with people who are trying to sell their "collectibles".   These are items that were created especially for the public to purchase in sets (often pricey sets) and that people believed would later appreciate in value.  Plates with works by famous artists, dolls and prints just to name a few things.   For the most part (probably 95%), these collectibles are now worth a small fraction of what collectors paid for them and this comes as a real shock !  We encourage people to create collections but do not create your collection using collectibles.  A great collection is one that is assembled piece by piece over a period of time often purchased from a variety of sources.  Steer clear of  "collectibles" but create collections that you assemble yourself!
